Brown Dog Farm
Fall 2021 Release
A collection of 10 small oil paintings of the pond at the center of Brown Dog Farm. The pond greets me every day during chores twice a day. It reflects the weather and the sky, different each day, connecting me to this place.
This is our first year offering our wool products from our fiber flock. 12 hats are our offering this year. Everything processed here, under 1 roof, wool grown, cleaned, dyed, spun and knitted. They are a blend of Angora mohair from our goats, mixed with wool from our sheep. They are what I call ‘fancy rag wool’, a blend of natural colored mohair and hand dyed wool. They are simple, fisherman’s caps. Perfect for or Wisconsin winters.
