Hi Folks-

This is my new method of keeping in touch. For 2024 Sheep Sponsors, both Ewe Sponsors and Lamb Parents, I was not able to keep monthly updates. It just wasn’t do-able with my familial responsibilities, my dad’s illness ,and all the things.

This year I want to try this instead. I will do a weekly update with a few pics and videos , of our weekly life, in this new blog page called Sheep Sponsor Update . When you go there use the password ‘SheepSponsor’, you can always check in and see your sheep, and keep a pulse-check on farm happenings.

Above is the invite for Shearing Party, all are welcome. For 2024 sponsors, I will be tagging your fleeces. Let me know how you want them processed. I will email you specifically, with a form.

Below is a gallery of the 12 lambs born this spring.

Here are up-to-date shots of 2024 sponsored Lambs and ewes

They are all beautiful and in fine fleece …til tomorrow. I will bag and tag your fleeces and be in contact about how you would like to receive them.

Thank you so very much for your support this year. The sheep have had a very good year. I think they have fared better than I, but i think this new format will allow me to keep you in touch better and enable me to communicate more effectively.

2024 Sponsors will be able to continue to access this page, please keep in touch .

2025 Sponsors we now begin in earnest. I will be contacting each of you with some choices for matching you up. If you are a Lamb Sponsor, you can rename your lamb and we will carry that forward throughout the year. For the Ewe sponsors, I will assign you a ewe according to your request for color and breed. Please think about coming and visiting the farm and getting to know and see your sponsored sheep. They are very friendly and love people, as are we. Morning is a good time to see them grazing and on the field, as is evening. Feel free to bring a picnic, we have lovely oak trees and gardens to sit in. We love visitors but please leave your dog friends at home, we have 2 farm dogs and they take their jobs seriously:)

I will update this page weekly, usually on Sunday afternoons, so you can see a few pics from the week gone by.

All my best

Rachel
