Just when you thought...

Just when I thought lambing was in the rear mirror, Grian started getting wider. One day I looked at her and realized as she waddled away from me that she was bagging up!O n a hot June 11, she went out with the flock to the daily pasture and then returned with me to the barn. She seemed ready to separate herself from the crowd. In the cool of the lambing pens still set up in the barn she waited until the cool of the evening. When it was dinner I checked her and there was imminent signs. When I returned just a bit later, look what we found!. A beautiful ram lamb. A friend exclaimed, ‘she had a panda’! Helio is right by his mothers side and now out in the lamb yard. Who knew we would still be lambing in June. I have no idea how that happened, but I’ll take it and it sure is fun to have little ones still around.
